We help our students to find a program according to the prior education and interest. We make sure the student gets admission in a Designated Learning Institute (DLI)
What is a Designated Learning Institute (DLI)?
Provinces and territories approve (or “designate”) schools that can enrol international students. These schools are known as designated learning institutions (DLI).
If you need a study permit, your acceptance letter must be from a DLI. If it isn’t, we will refuse your application.
The study permit is a document that is issued by CIC that allows foreign nationals to study at designated learning institutions (DLI) in Canada. Most foreign nationals need a study permit to study in Canada.
We make sure that our students have all the documents needed for the application so that the process goes hassle-free.
Your study permit is not a visa.
Mostlly people have the unclear picture of the difference between a Visa and Study Permit. A Study Permit allows a person to study in Canada whereas to enter in Canada, a person needs a visitor visa or an electronic travel authorization (eTA). If the study permit is approved, the visitor visa or eTA is issued along with the permit.
Tangent Immigrations Services provide full support to the students who are currently studying in Canada to extend their stay as a student.
Study visa is a Temporary Resident Visa and comes with a expiry date. The expiry date on the study permit tells when you have to stop studying and leave Canada.
A student can extend his/her study permit if the student wants to continue his studies or apply for a new program in a DLI.
When a student finishes his/her studies from a Community college or University, he/she becomes eligible to work in Canada full time and needs to apply for PGWP.
